Important terms and conditions

The following terms apply to all apartments (only the security deposit amounts differ).
  • Apartment is rented by owner, there is no realty company commission.
  • Rental price does not include utility bills.
  • Official rental agreement has to be signed, all taxes are paid by the landlord.

  • Monthly rent has to be paid in advance by bank transfer 10 days before the next rental month begins.

  • If the tenant does not declare his/her address in the apartment as per regulations, then €20 - €40 /mo is added to the rent to cover vacant property tax.

  • Refundable one-time security deposit is required. It is returned upon vacating the property (if no damages have occurred and all payments are settled):
    - Latvian citizens without pets - €950
    - Other cases - double the rental amount
  • Keeping a pet is subject to extra arrangements and increased security deposit.
  • Keeping a pet is subject to monthly rent increase of €20 - €100.
  • Keeping a pet (e.g. cat, dog) is subject to mandatory professional dry-wash of soft fabric furniture covers as well as the bedroom mattress. This has to be organized and paid by the tenant.
  • TV-set and optical internet / TV package are chosen and paid by the tenant separately. Landlord will be glad to help with this, if necessary.
  • Minimum rental term for the specified price is one year.
